Privacy Policy

How we look after your personal data, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

1. Who we are

Jungli is a restaurant brand operated by SAVAY Hospitality Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17009020). SAVAY Hospitality Ltd is the "data controller" of the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is processed.

This policy applies to personal data collected through this website and when you book, contact or dine with us. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What we collect and why

Guest list sign-ups. When you join our guest list we collect your email address so we can send you launch updates and news about Jungli. We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR), which you give by joining the guest list (the form makes clear that joining means receiving our emails) and can withdraw at any time — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we will remove you promptly.

Contact form enquiries. When you contact us we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message so we can respond. We rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in responding to enquiries from guests and prospective guests.

Table reservations. Bookings are handled by our reservations partner SevenRooms. When you book, SevenRooms collects details such as your name, contact details, party size, and any preferences or requirements you choose to share (for example dietary or accessibility needs). We process this data because it is necessary to take and manage your booking (Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract). Where you share health-related information (such as an allergy), we handle it only to keep you safe when you dine with us.

Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically logs limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the website working. We rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure, functioning website.

We collect only what we need. We do not buy personal data, and we never sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") who handle data on our instructions under written contracts:

We may also share personal data where the law requires it (for example with regulators or law enforcement) or to protect our legal rights.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers (including Netlify, SevenRooms and Google) are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK, we make sure it is protected by safeguards approved under UK law — such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the International Data Transfer Agreement / UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@wearejungli.co.uk. We will respond within one month, and exercising your rights is free of charge. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113. We would welcome the chance to resolve any concern directly first.

7. Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own. Third-party services embedded in the site — the Google map on our Location page and the SevenRooms booking widget — may set their own cookies when you use them, as described in their privacy notices linked above.

8. Security

All connections to this website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to submitted data is limited to the people who need it, and our providers store it on secured, access-controlled infrastructure. No system is ever completely risk-free, but if a breach were to put your rights at risk we would notify the ICO within 72 hours and, where required, affected individuals without undue delay.

9. Children

Families are welcome at Jungli, but this website's forms are not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data online. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we add new services. The latest version will always be on this page, with the "last updated" date above. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
